How does the online conference format work?
- Interactive Live Online Sessions:
The live online sessions feature real-time audio, visuals and interaction with both the museum professionals presenting and those attending the conference. Attend those sessions of most interest to you. Login on your own, or with colleagues from your own institution. - Simple tech requirements:
Attending the live online sessions requires only a web-connected computer and speakers or headphones. A mobile application (for iPhone) is also available for sessions to listen in via handheld. A more detailed link to the computer technical requirements is available. - Recorded sessions:
Your availability and time zone are not an issue! If you can’t attend a session at its scheduled live time, tune back in later to enjoy a complete recording featuring the audio, visuals and Q&A just as they appeared live. You can even fast forward to segments of particular interest. Archives are available online for at least six months. - Virtual Expo:
You will have a chance to hear from companies that provide products and services to museums related to deploying mobile experiences. You will have the ability to stop by virtual booths, learn what each vendor offers, stock up on brochures, ask questions, see product demos, — all from one convenient place. You can speak live with representatives, quietly take a flyer, or request that someone contact you. There’s no pressure; engage as much or as little as you wish.
